The house was great, had everything we needed. We love Ko Olina, and it was great having A/C included, cable TV, spacious living/dinning and the community pool was a plus. Short walk to the pool, and really enjoyed that this was a gated community. Felt safe and was a very quite street.
We rented a golf cart, and it was great to have it to avoid dealing with lagoon parking (the property mgr referred us to a golf cart rental - they were great). Would recommend this property, can't say enough about the service, absolutely outstanding!
The Ko Olina Kai Condo Resort was beautifully maintained and the pool and patio area was so inviting that we all used it everyday, even on our beach days. The four lagoons were all within easy walking distance (approximately 15 minutes) and were absolutely gorgeous; each boasting sparkling clear water and immaculate sandy shores. Lagoons 2 and 4 were much quieter as they did not have hotel patrons using the space. Rick was the only golfer among us and said the Ko Olina Golf Course was amazing. The restaurants, ABC Store (grocery store), coffee shop, ice cream shop, etc. was on the same route that takes you to the Lagoons, a 10 minute walk away through our condo complex and the adjoining condo complex; the scenery was pleasant and there was no traffic to worry about.
During our stay we did not use any of the local restaurants because we preferred to cook our meals at "home" or eat out when we were sightseeing. One recommendation would be to get a rental car if you wanted to get out and see the sights, There is an abundance of things to see and do - we all enjoyed hiking and touring around. Lynn & Rick took in a Luau at Paradise Cove which they could walk to from the condo.
We all agreed that Ko Olina was a beautiful spot to stay whether you have been to Hawaii many times or if you are a first tim
